We booked this cottage after a lot of research, and later found out that some friends from Melbourne had stayed there the previous year and loved it! Clean, comfortable, quaint - what more do you need? Plenty of room for the 3 kids in the second bedroom. Loved being right in a gorgeous town, with walks and drives to other lovely places all within easy reach. Dawn and Bette lovely to deal with, prompt responses to emails and queries. We have stayed in 17 places on our 8 week trip, and this was one of our favorites!

This is a beautiful cottage which retains lots of its original features and has been sympathetically modernised with all the facilities required to make for an enjoyable stay. Constant hot water was available . Parking concerns which was our initial fear as we had a large vehicle, were dispelled as there was more than adequate room. Patio table and chairs for four enabled us to make best use of the good weather for our evening meals. Wi fi facility was a plus for us as well. In all a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

“Beautiful location - relaxing stay”

Well Cottage is a wonderful old home with lots of character within close walking distance to Bourton-on-the-Water. The owners have made sure that every need is covered with all the bits and bobs (like washing liquid and extra toilet paper) in plentiful supply.
My kids loved the closeness of the river that runs right thru the village and spent many afternoons feeding the ducks and looking for trout. The village is a fantastic place with lots of eating, drinking and shopping spots to pick from. The house has loads of character, was spotlessly clean and was very welcoming. The little outdoor setting got a lot of use in the afternoon for happy hour. There is some narrow stairs to bedrooms so this may be a problem for some but not an issue for us (2 kids, mum and 2 grandparents) Loved this spot and loved this house - would definately stay here again.

We found " Well Cottage" within easy walking distance of all the village points of interest.
The cottage was very clean and well appointed. The fire was a special feature that we really enjoyed on cooler evenings.
