“Good central location but very noisy and grubby.”

Pleasant accommodation although really too small for 4 adults and a toddler. Second bedroom very tight, you can hardly stand up when getting out of bed.
The garden is nice but the table and furniture were covered in seagull lime which took considerable scrubbing to remove .
The people in the flat above were extremely noisy and arguing which led to the woman being thrown out onto the street in the middle of the night

Hi thanks for staying and leaving us your review. We clean the garden and outdoor furniture each changeover - as the flat is close to the sea we can't help the seagulls flying over. We are sorry to hear about the people upstairs - this house is usually very quiet - we have not heard of anything like that before. We hope you can come and stay again. Many thanks

Stayed for a weekend in this apartment. Very clean and is equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Near to all the amenities Rye has to offer, with the added bonus of an allocated parking space. Excellent communication from owners, with tea, coffee and a few essentials (including a bottle of wine) waiting for us on arrival.

“Lovely flat. Immaculately clean. Ideal for 2 couples.”

Well situated for the town, can walk everywhere. Quite busy road but not too noisy at night.
Probably the cleanest place I have rented, with some nice little touches.

“Good base to explore area”

Has everything you need (apart from dishwasher!) for a short break. 2 minute walk from centre of town. Very noisy road, as mentioned in earlier reviews, at certain times of day but quieter by night-time. Could do with a bit of TLC e.g. shower screen, blind in bathroom and plug in bathroom sink need to be fixed or replaced. But on the whole great for the amount of time we spent there. Bedrooms very hot at this time of year but fans provided.

“Good base”
Reviewed 8 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Just finishing a week at this property and has really been great for us, dogs are welcome it has a nice small garden with decked area with garden furniture. Very well laid out and in great condition. Wifi free view DVD and cd music station.

Kitch was well equipped and all worked well living area all down stairs open plan and 2bedrooms upstairs with bathroom. Only really down side of the property is that the road outside is noisy so if you are blessed with good weather and you have the windows open the road noise can lead to being woken up early. If you accept this then this is a great holiday cottage. Close to the pubs and resturants on the quay, I would recommend the ship inn.
