“A quiet getaway from the hubbub of Brighton, yet an easy walk to everywhere!”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My wife, and I, and our daughter, and son-in-law stayed in this Kemp Town apartment for a week in July. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We deliberately selected a location that would be a bit removed from all the summer hubbub. A quiet, cozy place to relax after shopping, or hanging out with the crowd at the beach. This apartment fit the bill nicely. It is 2 and a half floors. The first level, is a good sized living room, dining room, and kitchen, and out the kitchen door is a small deck, with table, and chairs for four. Up a half floor is a very large bathroom, with 2 sinks, and a great shower!, The 2 good-sized bedrooms are up on the second floor. The apartment runs from the front of the building to the back. It was very bright, and airy. We really enjoyed the owner's sense of style. We found the apartment very tidy, and well-equipped for the four of us.

The neighborhood has a handful of convenient shops, restaurants, and pubs. The Ginger Dog down at the end of the street was excellent! It was an easy 15 minute walk to The Lanes from the apartment. Also, it's 2 blocks north of the beach.

Brighton is a very walkable city. And, there is public transportation. We never felt the need to take a bus, or taxi though.

We were very happy with our choice.

Beautiful Brighton townhouse with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Teenager appreciated the excellent Wifi connection and mother appreciated the very thoughtful welcome gifts! Easy walk to the seafront and into the town centre. Can thoroughly recommend The Ginger Dog at the end of the street.. amazing food and attentive service. We hope to return soon.
