We booked a sea view room which had a great view towards the pier.

The room was ready early. We arrived at midday expecting to leave the bags in reception as we new the room was not available until 3pm, which was a nice bonus.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was comfy as well.
The

Hotel is well placed to visit the Lanes for shopping and restaurants.
Parked in the Lanes car park under The Jury's Inn which is next door to the Queens Hotel. We were given a discount voucher for the parking which reduced the cost to £20 for 24 hrs parking.

Had yet another lovely stay at Queens Hotel, was just disappointed that we could not get
Irish or Gaelic coffee liquor s at Bar One.
stayed in Tower 3 , fabulous, Room was spotless , warm and cosy. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. My fiance went to the pool, enjoyed his swim. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Queens Hotel.

Room Tip: Can be noisy late at night, but hey, it is Brighton!

We stayed for 2 nights during half term in October 2017. We were really looking forward to the stay and must say we were a little disappointed on how run down the hotel was. Especially the approach to the lift, had a very run down step, where everyone must have been banging their suitcases over.. Not a pleasant look. We had a triple family room, which was spacious and nice, but not too clean, When we moved the side cabinet to put bed closer together the cabinet was covered in dust and sticky. Bathroom looked clean but the shower head was spraying water all over the place and hard to control. One down side, is there was absolutely nowhere to put our toiletries or small makeup bag, so at least one little shelve on the side would be very welcome.
Breakfast was OK but stuff were totally oblivious of the guests, walking little like zombies and not interacting much. Made us feel a little uncomfortable. In the hotel they have advertised for happy hour in the bar, 2 cocktails for £12. Great deal, however the bartender had no idea how to make two cocktails from the menu and was asking us if we knew the measurements of the drinks..
Overall, it was an OK stay, though. We just tried to look beyond the little faults and enjoy the stay. One great thing was that the room was surprisingly quiet despite hotel being on the main road. I think this is very important, and the beds and bedding were VERY comfortable. This hotel has an amazing location, just by the sea front, next to The Lanes, so if you are looking for a comfortable night sleep and close to the city center / sea, this is a good hotel.

Room Tip: Great views, quiet hotel despite being on main road, no parking

We booked last minute and when we arrived we were given an apartment which is based adjacent to the hotel. The apartment was brand new and had a fabulous view of the sea.it had everything you could ask for including kitchen complete with washing machine and a comfortable bed .The breakfast was included in the price and was a little disappointing .the buffet style was served from Bain Marie’s and was a little choice. And Luke warm.We did ask for gluten free bread and poached eggs which they provided. The swimming pool is a little cold but nice. Take flip flops because you have to walk past the gym from the changing rooms and the path is slippery. I would stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review following your recent visit.
Its really good to see how much you enjoyed the apartment you had booked.
Although we are a three star hotel , we try to provide a more extensive range of products on our breakfast buffet than most similarly rated hotel , and in addition to us serving the hot & cold breakfast buffet , to be able to provide gluten free bread , and cooked to order poached eggs is a nice step in that direction.
We hope to see you back again soon.

The friendly and efficient staff made up for the rather disappointing room and breakfast with the fourth floor sea view room, bearing little resemblance to photos on the Queens Hotel's website, having a shabby and stained carpet and a window that let in a screamingly noisy wind through the day and night. The beds were clean and comfortable but this hotel needs to realise that nowadays guests want honesty on their website as to what to expect when staying here. We booked directly to the hotel and that procedure was friendly, welcoming and efficient - a great staff so I hope the hotel hangs on to them.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Tripadvisor.
Although the photos on our website are taken from a cross section of our rooms , and our rooms all have a similar decor and lay out , there can be small differences from room to room.
I was very happy to see such positive comments regarding our staff , and I shall make sure they get to read your complimentary comments.
