Been eating at the B&B for many years when I visit Swanage, the staff and food are great, not to mention the view is incredible. Very delicious ale selection brewed from a local family owned micro brewery called "Isle Of Purbeck Brewery" in Studland. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Swanage Bay and the cliffs. Looking forward to my return to Swanage.

The food was mediocre, the wait, for an empty restaurant was over an hour and a half and even when it arrived we had send food back as it was cold by this point. It's a shame inside the restaurant looks lovely.
The tables were dirty, the service was slow and the food was average.
They had to remove a meal from our bill by way of apology.
Unfortunately we won't be running back there anytime soon.

Visited for some hot drinks on Saturday afternoon. My wife ordered a hot chocolate for her and a cappuccino for me. After half an hour the hot chocolate arrived...at last our drinks were going to arrive. No such luck! My Wife duly finished her drink and by this time I had waited for 3/4 hour. On the way out requested refund to be told that he was unable to make my drink as he was "only human, not super-human". Marvel must look at taking the option on that super hero. Been here before to find dirty cups piled up on the bar and no clean tables to sit at. Service has never been great, but the guy seemed to have no idea how to manage his workload, as spent the 3/4 of an hour that I was there firefighting complaining customers, and partially serving everyone but never fully completing any order until someone complained. Collapsing gold mine - call Cappuccino-man!

Just got back from Mother’s Day lunch. Venue is great, right next to the beach. Food pretty good. Let down by service which quite frankly was all over the place. It’s Mother’s Day. It’s busy. I get it but there were clearly not enough staff to manage.

Such a great location. I’m not surprised they always appear empty
Slow staff who don’t appear to care about service. Tables left dirty
Nothing a good manager, who cares, could put right. Come on it’s a sitting gold mind with proper management.
