Loved Oceanarium with a big BUT. Visited with my 4yr old and pre-booked tickets which I advise strongly as lines were very long. We ended up doing two visits. Due to the number of people present at 11.30am. We came back at 2pm as advised by staff (Thank you :) ). We had a marvellous time from otters to penguins and beautiful fish. My daughter made a friend and we were there 3 hours. You can return as many times as you like in the day with a stamp. Worth a visit but can be very crowded.

Only negative is the Play area is waste of time. Way too small.

We visited the oceanarium on bank holiday Monday. We got there early to avoid the rush as we had a pushchair with us. This was a good idea as when we were leaving at lunch time it was heaving and buggies could not really get through. Both our girls loved all the fish, seeing the penguins etc. It’s not a day out mind, more a couple of hours!

I was hesitant to visit after reading some reviews, but really glad we did!
I understand for older children and adults it maybe a bit small and quick to walk around, but we loved it! And it's great that you could visit as much as you want that same day once you've had the stamp on your hand. We visited in the morning in time for the Otters feeding time with our 8 month old daughter. Afterwards went for a lovely walk along the beach, lunch then back for shark feeding time.
Our daughter was fascinated with everything, the whole aquarium is beautiful! I've been to a few around the country and felt they need updating, this place is perfect! I hope they get the opportunity to expand as it would be great to see more. But what they do have is definitely worth seeing in our opinion.
We will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely time visiting here while we stayed in the area for a weekend break. The price was really good and actually much better inside that London’s sea world. The feeding of the otters was a highlight and the huge sea turtles were so beautiful. Loved the fact that they stamped your hand so you could go back later in the day of you Wanted. As a couple of adults there wasn’t anything too childish both children and adults could enjoy here. Would definitely recommend!
