My sister and brother in law discovered this little gem when they were visiting totnes for lunch a few months ago.
Surprised me this morning with today on my visit down from London for the weekend and said we were going time travelling and my goodness we did!
What an experience...to be able to touch, sit and really feel like you're there is such an incredible blast to your senses!

It's like no other museum I've ever visited.

Got loads of ideas for our ever increasing collection of sixties memorabilia and our own sixties sitting room! It's been done to such a high standard and the art work and displays are truly incredible!

Very moved by the cloud nine room and the aboriginal history, made me want to learn more.

Had a chat with the owner and he was a lovely chap and you could tell he was very proud of it...
and rightly so!

Massive vinyl selection and gifts for the poor unfortunates that didn't get to go!

Looking forward to bringing my Beatles fan husband in the summer and spotting things I missed today xxx

We walked into the shop to get out of the rain and were tempted by the offer of a free herbal tea to visit the attraction. Initially, I thought it was only the basement and ground floor that had 'galleries' and would have thought that great value at just over a fiver. Each room is unique and extremely well crafted. Believe me, this is an attraction of national importance and tucked away in the most unlikely of settings. If you are anywhere near South Devon this summer then this is a 'must see' attraction. I suggest to the owners that they refresh their website and start on line bookings otherwise they
won't cope with the volume of visitors once the word has spread. The only place I can compare this to is Dismaland, the massively popular pop-up show in Weston last
summer. Well done to all the artists and technicians involved with this fantastic work of art.

My wife and I visited on Thursday May 19th having passed the window and been intrigued by the time travel element. We spent about two and a half hours visiting the different themed rooms, watching the films and enjoying the completely unique atmosphere of the place. We were entertained, educated and challenged by what we saw and heard - a really excellent afternoon!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I have visited every museum in London, others all over the country, and live about 20 minutes away from this place and I cannot recommend it enough, it's the best museum I have ever visited.

A friend recommended this place to me and it sounded promising but I could not shift the idea it would just be another lame, empty museum full of vaguely interesting artifacts. Anyway he persisted that I go and I decided to take the chance.

I could not have been more wrong. It's not like any other museum in this country. Every single room is themed but themed so well you feel like you are there. The movies and videos there are enough on their own to make me go again. They are so well put together and the soundtracks are just perfect. They have managed to put a Lily Allen song to a video about consumerism and the way we are destroying the planet and trust me here, there could not have been a better song. If somebody told me that I would disagree with them for hours but when you see it you'll see what I mean.

The place is fantastic every single room proves a totally different point and it really makes you reevaluate yourself and the way you live.

They have done so much with such a small space. The front of the building is a tiny record store and you could quote easily decide the place will be just a short visit, but don't leave on that account. I spent two hours in there and that was nowhere near enough. I am going again next week but taking friends and family with me. This place has to be seen to be believed.

The Morrocan cafe is the most peaceful place i have ever been. The free mint tea is fantastic and you don't even have to shut your eyes to imagine you are not in this country. Walking outside after my visit was mind blowing I had totally forgotten I was in the UK.

Just please, if you are considering this place but not sure please take my word and take the leap. You will never, ever forget this place. I'm proud this is in my local area and cannot wait to go again.

Best museum in the world, cannot recommend highly enough.
