Really good place to go exploring in all weathers. Dog friendly place lots of different walking routes to keep you coming back for more. Also really good for running routes with plenty of tracks hard and soft ground in places.

Very picturesque, only a few miles from the centre of town, and there's the nearby Plym Valley heritage railway, but check for details as this is only open on certain days of the week.

I love these woods but to be honest I love the cycle path more. This takes you high up onto the moor and it is amazing over the years it’s been “improved” not for the better now it’s all been tarmac ed . But apart from this it’s still a great ride.
