After finding about this delightful (fairly) new restaurant a couple of months ago, we finally found an occasion to book a table. The decor is reminiscent of a prohibition speakeasy and has a clean, fresh and stylish atmosphere. The service was friendly and our waitress was happy to join in the family banter! We had a selection of their delicious cocktails, part of the charm of this establishment. I like a restaurant that has a small, but well designed menu and we weren't disappointed as there was something for everyone's tastes. The steaks were cooked to perfection, there was no hint of a problem with a request to swap the chips that accompanied the chicken burger for fresh vegetables and the sea bass was perfectly accompanied by one of the best clam chowders I've had in the UK, with a generous amount of shellfish. The portions were generous, so sadly we didn't sample a dessert on this occasion. Highly recommended if you're looking for a unique venue that delivers what it offers with friendly service and is value for money.
