I have stayed here regularly for 4 years. The staff as always are professional and helpful, the building is beautiful with character, the rooms spotless and the breakfast good. The evening meals though are disappointing and I would expect much higher quality for the cost.

Gorgeous hotel, great location, the staff were brilliant, Callum went above and beyond. Breakfast was stunning would defiantly recommend the chocolate and banana crepe. the best part of our stay was having a swim in the heated outside pool.

Was looking for somewhere nice to take Sunday Lunch during our stay in Exeter over Easter, and as a result of reviews we booked a table at the Hotel Du Vin.

The Ambience was very nice with the dining room over looking the Garden, the food was very nice to match the attentive service, only down side we found was that the bar did not have Draught Beers, and the bottled ones we both wanted were sold out!!

Interesting Building being the former Eye Infirmary for the South of England!!i

Dropped in to ask room rate. Got a decent price. More so, some lovely people. A relief after the snootiness up the road at 'house' hotel in Southernhay. From the moment we arrived until we left, we couldn't have been more delighted by the attitude of the team and, the quality of what's on offer. Thus, looking forward very much to visiting again.

Room Tip: Be as nice to the reception team as they are being to you.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and loved it . The staff were all very helpful and the service in the restaurant was great . We had a fantastic meal in the bistro and a lovely gin in the bar . Would recommend this hotel as couldn’t fault it .
