We had a very comfortable stay. The house is bright and airy with large rooms. A great base for exploring the local area.
The views are stunning but you'll need to drag a faded dining chair outside if you want to enjoy the views as there is no patio furniture. Well there is but it's on the bonfire heap. Don't expect a complimentary bottle of wine to welcome you to yr £1100 a week stay but there were loo rolls, for which we were grateful. Bring everything else with you though because there is literally nothing else. The en-suite bedroom bathroom is a beautiful shade of retro brown..circa 1970..Although clean. The double bed, yes double not kingsize bed is like sleeping on a marshmallow so resorted to the single room. The smell of the yellow stained yet washed pillow was a surprise but the bed was ok. The approx 30yr old yet again double mattress in the other room which family members had to use gave us all quite a shock and we rapidly had to find a shop to buy extra bedding to put on top of it. The kitchen cupboards can only be described as shabbily chiqued. Again a retro feel if that's yr thing fine..Bring yr own dvds as there aren't any to put into the dvd player. The family bathroom is absolutely fine and it's a shame that the whole house isn't of the same standard throughout. As advised by the owner that the house met Cornwall tourist boards standards was surprising. Clearly they do not have very high standards.
We had an amazing time!!! The city and nearby area is magical. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious.
Had a really lovely stay here with, friends and family, including 3 children. Manu Propria was ideal, set in Trewarmett with the most amazing views over the fields to the ocean. The house it self was wonderfully clean and comfortable and an excellent base to explore the area. The view alone was worth the price. Ton's to do in the area, beautiful Cornish pubs, The Historic town of Tintagel is within walking distance with all it's Arthurian fun, Bossiney Cove and Trebarwith are amazing beaches. Boscastle and the witches museum are a 15 minute drive away. Everyone should check out a bit of a hidden gem in St. Nectan's glen.. a wonderful plunge pool waterfall. We all had a wonderful stay and are planning to return a.s.a.p. Would highly recommend.
