We went to St Nectans Glen today with our 5 and 11 year olds, so glad we did. There's a fairly long walk ( 15/20 mins) from the car park before you get to the waterfalls but we found the walk through the woodlands a fun adventure in itself, our boys loved going in and out of the water on the way. When we got to the entrance itself we thought it was really nicely run, with friendly staff and free welly hire, which you need if not wearing your own to walk through the waterfall. Being able to stand so close to such an amazing waterfall was just amazing. Our boys loved it.
There were lots of little bits to see where people had left painted rocks and plaques, lots of fairy ribbons etc
I really would recommend going if you've not been before, it's a hidden gem.
Not for buggies or wheel chair users though.

The walk from the car park is long..but man is it worth it. The falls themselves are magical, a sight to be seen. Memories made here will last you a lifetime. Don't forget to buy ribbons in the shop! Wellies are supplied free of charge if you need them and you probably will!! Sarah who served us was an absolute delight! We love you Sarah!!! And we love St Nectans falls. ❤❤❤

Ok so it’s a bit of a walk from where you park on the road but oh my god it’s so worth it. The lovely lady in the shop recommended we use their wellies which we did and so glad we did to. Nowhere I know can you quite literally walk up next to a 60 ft waterfall. It’s simply stunningly beautiful place . Our 3 kids all loved it. This is one of those little gems of a place to go and the lady in the shop, so sorry I didn’t get your name, but thank you, so very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough for a visit

There are no words to describe this beautiful sacred place. Wear sensible and comfortable shoes because it gets wet and slippery.

Visited St Nectan’s Glen today, parked in their car park and followed the signposts to the glen. It’s a lovely walk, past farmland with views of the sea and into woodland alongside the running water. There are stepping stones to attempt crossing the brook, and bridges to play Poohsticks from. The path is reasonably flat along this section although you need to watch out for tree roots, and it can get very muddy so pick your footwear carefully. The path gradually leads upwards, and there are some quite steep steps, handrails are provided. The views are lovely, lots of mossy tree branches and the wonderful sound of birdsong at this time of year.
There are toilets and a cafe at the top, and entrance to the waterfalls which is subject to a small fee. The waterfalls are stunning, the largest is about 60 foot tall and you can walk in the water beneath it. Wellies are provided at the entrance if you do not have your own - you will need them.
