We have just come home from a 2 night break at Blue Hayes. From the moment we were shown to our room all of the stress of work and travel just evaporated. Chilled champagne on arrival which we sipped standing on our terrace overlooking the stunning views of St Ives, Godrevy, the Atlantic Ocean and Dolphins playing in the bay!
Malcolm and his lovely team are there whenever you want something but know exactly when to fade into the background when you want chill out time in this beautiful hotel. We spent a good part of our trip back planning our next stay.

This was our third stay in this lovely small hotel. As ever everything was perfect. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. They even remembered that it was our wedding anniversary and gave us a card.

We have just enjoyed our second stay at Blue Hayes Hotel, to celebrate my 60th Birthday.

We stayed in the Master Suite with a balcony overlooking the sea. The room was wonderful the bed was so comfy with wonderful pillows.

The huge gleaming bathroom was spotless.

Breakfast is a real treat, a huge choice all made with fresh ingredients & absolutely delicious, sets you up for the day.

We enjoyed a ‘proper Cornish Cream Tea’ on Saturday afternoon & this was the best we’ve ever tasted, the homemade scones were wonderful.

Malcolm, Kirsty & all the staff are so welcoming, friendly & helpful.

We had a truly wonderful time, and hope to visit again in the future.

We absolutely love St Ives & the Blue Hayes makes staying there even more enjoyable.

Many thanks.

Janet & Russell Emm.

We wanted a special hotel for our 50th wedding anniversary trip and a good base of operations for touring and exploring Cornwall. We found the perfect place: the Blue Hayes Hotel in St. Ives. We were warmly greeted by Malcolm and Tessa upon our arrival, and the personal attention from all of the staff continued for the five days we were there. Kirsty, the hotel Administrator, is an exceptional concierge who helped us with several personal issues during our stay. She and Malcolm personally assisted us in some of our tour planning. The Blue Hayes is a small, private hotel offering a quiet luxury that makes you glad to be back at the end of the day. We stayed in the Trelyon Suite, and it is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It has a large private terrace with a nice view of the sea from one side. Breakfasts are magnificent, lots of choices, served in a beautiful dining room with a lovely view. The hotel also provides excellent "light" suppers if you don’t feel like eating dinner in one of the many fine restaurants nearby in St. Ives. You can order from a large dinner menu in the morning, and the chef prepares your food to be served cold in the dining room that evening. The dinners are delicious, presented beautifully, and not so "light." The Blue Hayes is special on many levels, and its success is due primarily to Malcolm's attention to detail in every aspect of creating and running the hotel. It is beautifully and comfortably decorated, and it is spotlessly clean. Malcolm has a well-trained, professional team with him, a friendly, efficient staff that largely remains invisible until you need something. When you need anything, the response is prompt and smiling. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Hayes, and are already making plans for another visit.

Room Tip: Three suites have sea views, but all are beautiful. Plan well ahead; the rooms are booked early, typically by returning guests
