“Great little place with everything you need, excellent location”
Reviewed 27 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Great place to spend a few days, very welcoming apartment with a bottle of wine to greet us. Seconds from the harbour, pub and great places to eat. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
We found everything very clean, and plenty of thought had gone into providing all you may need during your stay, making our stay perfect.

“Lovely apartment in Ideal location in lovely Port isaac (seconds from pub too!)”

This place is ideally located in port isaac. Right down at the heart of the village. It was a lovely little flat with a warming fire and nice decor. Its a lot more open/larger then the pics look and the kitchen is just off the lounge so makes a nice layout. Very comfy bed too. We would stay again for sure.

Port isaac is just ideal, the loveliest little fishing community. We had never watched doc martin but watched a couple of episodes while here and now big fans- they were filming the next series so we even ran into a couple of the main actors in the local pub!

Only tiny thing we would have liked was a few more cleaning things to clean up before we left (maybe we just didn't find them) as it was very clean when we arrived so would have liked to have left it so clean when we left but couldn't find anything (hope we left it ok!). Really appreciated the wine on arrival too!!

Lovely little flat in cottage and would not hesitate to book it in future. We are sad to be leaving after a week- could easily have stayed another. Make use of crab on sale in the harbour every morning and also be sure to have fish and chips at the golden lion-delish!!

nice pubs to visit nearby include the Blisland Inn, the St Kew Inn and the Tudy Inn

“Great secret hideaway in the centre of Post Isaac”

Peaceful, clean and charming with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up some local fresh fish (available on the doorstep!) and there are some great restaurants within walking distance. The Old Bakehouse is also in the perfect position to begin gentle walks over fields, exhilarating walks with stunning views, or an easy walk to Port Gaverne which passes a place to stop for a glass of wine with a sea view and ends at a cosy pub. What could be better than that!

“Brilliant accomodation in the centre of Port Isaac”
Reviewed 2 November 2012 for a stay in September 2012

This is a lovely second floor apartment right in the centre of Port Isaac. It is literally a one minute walk to the harbour, and shops, restaurants, and pub!
The accomodation is very clean and bright and well equipped.
The only access is via an external staircase so it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems but that could be said of much of Port Isaac which is built on very steep hills with limited vehicular access.
The property was a real delight to stay in and was a great base from which to try several of the very good local restaurants and also from which to start some spectacular, though rather strenuous, coastal walks.
The booking procedure was all very easy and whilst the promised complimentary bottle of red wine was not there on our arrival the owner very kindly reimbursed us with £25 when this was brought to his attention.
Overall this was a great place to stay. The only downside was that the nearest parking was a strenuous walk away but the lack of traffic in Port Isaac adds to the charm of the place.
