“Comfortable, clean and quiet location.”
Reviewed 6 February 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Nice cosy bungalow in a very quiet location. Well equipped and lovely and warm despite being in January. Excellent location for visiting Looe, Polperro and Fowey, with many other places within relatively short driving times. Like the fact that no pets are permitted.

Thank you for your response. We are pleased that you enjoyed your holiday and that you were able to get out and about using public transport. The annual Looe music festival is one of the big weekends of the year and many great acts have appeared over the years.
We are sorry that there appears to have been some issues which we will look into as soon as possible as these have not been raised before. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

“Excellent, Clean with Everything you could need”

Excellent bungalow in a small complex of holiday bungalows. Complex is very quiet and well looked after. Great central area for getting out and about.
Bungalow has everything you could need. Bedrooms are small but adequate with comfy beds.
Bathroom has excellent shower with hot water at all times.
Pool lovely on a hot day.
Plenty of information available about surrounding area.
Only small niggle is that we arrived in the dark and the key was difficult to find and the key box was a little bit high for us.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you liked the Granite Henge site. We will pass your comments on to the site manager who will be pleased that you appreciate his efforts. We are currently looking into the addition of a porch light.

“Clean and Comfortable.”

Really neat little complex of holiday chalets, in noway commercial. Ideally situated between Looe and Polperro. Easily located off a good road, no busy narrow lanes to negotiate. The chalet, was warm on arrival, despite the chilly weather. All facilities were clean and comfortable. The chalet, despite being small, was well laid out with the bathroom and bedrooms feeling very private form the rest of the chalet which was open plan kitchen, lounge, dining area. The pool looked like it would be very welcoming during the summer months.

“Nice location shame about the bed”

Firstly the good points are the location (close to Looe, Talland bay and polperro) The pool for the kids and the peace Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to lack of sleep - we couldnt face another night in the bed...It had seen better days - we looked underneath and it had broken and been repaired which accounted for the sagging in the middle, the mattress was flat and a foam topper had been placed over the top with a plastic sheet protector - it was like sleeping in a crisp packet with the russling and due to this no circulation so you woke up hot and sticky - please put in a new mattress Id love to come back but couldnt sleep there again holiday is ruined when you are tired with backache :(
The pool was great for the kids but dont be mistaken in thinking a "heated" pool is a warm pool - this was a little disappointing as I thought this would be great if the weather was bad (which is was a few days) the pool was cold - I think heated may mean to 5-10 degrees? All in all a good stay and would have marked it higher if not for the bed and stating heated pool (perhaps the litrature shoud say heated to X degrees so not to avoid disappointment)

It was very disappointing to hear that your stay had been less than perfect. This is the first time that anyone had mentioned the bed being an issue and we ourselves stayed there only a few weeks ago. The bed has never been repaired, although there is an additional support post for the bed, like any slatted bed. We do however understand what you mean by the rustling and will be sorting that in the very near future, as well as investigating the mattress, when the season comes to an end. As regards the pool temperature, this is monitored on a daily basis and registers between 24.6 and 26 degrees which is dependent on the ambient temperature as would any outdoor pool.
