Location is excellent and sea view is fantastic.
The cottage is clean and "full of characters".
But you must carry some "one pound" coins to pay for the electricity meter. The rental cost does not include the electricity bill. Also extra 5 pounds are charged for the "Towels supply" per head.
This quirky cottage is situated right on the seafront/promenade at Penzance. Its spacious with three good sized bedrooms, and the added benefit of offroad parking. There are little steps and the room configuration may strike some as unusual. However, once in the sitting room (which is situated on the first floor) the cottage comes alive with the most glorious view. You can see across to St Michaels Mount and Newlyn, watch the Scillonian set sail for the Scillies daily and chill out people watching. The welcome tray included a saffron loaf which was seriously yummy and a really kind & thoughtful gesture by the owners. Not the most up-to-date decor but with the great view, central location and parking its a good place to stay in Penzance.
