This is a copy of an email I sent on Monday 13 June on return from our trip. It is now late Friday afternoon and I still haven't had a response. We had no hot water on the first morning and this was resolved very quickly so was expecting a quick turnaround on the feedback.
My mum and I recently enjoyed a holiday in Cornwall, staying at the above address.
We were overall delighted with the apartment and enjoyed the beautiful views and central location.
I thought it would be useful to provide you with some feedback which may be of benefit to future tenants:
Kitchen cupboard above cooker to right hand side facing – locking mechanism doesn’t work
Toilet roll holder in en-suite loose
No valance on double bed
Given that the shower enclosures are very small, it is difficult to avoid the water spray (if you don’t want to wash your hair) from the shower head. This is especially challenging when having to bend down to access soap and body-wash. It would be helpful if one of the showers had a hand held spray and for both to have shelving above the dials so at least you don’t have to bend down for toiletries.
Whilst I appreciate that you ask very nicely to remove bedding, I don’t feel this is appropriate to do so. At around £200 per day, this would be better left to the cleaning staff to undertake.
