Quiet and peaceful apartment with a beautiful outdoor resting area. Always wscorted by the owner friendly cat. Kids loves playing with owner pet.
Stayed here over Easter with wife, 9 year old daughter, daughters friend and mother-in-law and had a fantastic time! From looking at the website I had an idea of what the property would look like but all of us were seriously surprised just how amazing it was. The barn itself is beautifully converted with a rustic and very homely feel to it and very easy to get comfortable in. Has all the mod cons. Mixture of weather when we were there but it was neither too cold or too hot. The welcome by Ann was great she even left a couple of bags of mini eggs for the girls. Location is perfect. Couple of minutes from Watergate Bay and only 10 mins or so from Newquay but far enough away to totally relax. Was a little concerned that it might be near the airport but didn't hear one plane. Did see one taxiing in the distance which was of great entertainment to the kids. Surrounding area was great and felt secure and the girls were off on their adventures playing on the play area, hide and seek with the chickens and petting the lambs. I really cannot rate this place or the owners highly enough. Already looked at rebooking in the summer but alas they are full during the dates we want but we will definitely return. A massive thanks to Ann and her family for the great holiday!
This was a lovely place to stay on a working farm. Situated next to the airport this did not effect the ambiance of this lovely converted milk dairy building. It is modern and certainly bigger than it looks in the published pictures. Ann the proprietor is very helpful in making your stay so memorable. Always replies to your questions no matter how many. I would certainly recommend it to family and friends. A lovely place that we intend to return to sooner rather than later I hope.
We always stay in and around watergate bay when visiting Cornwall, normally staying in the bay itself. Because there was some other family this time staying we needed a larger and more self contained accommodation. Mohay barn is a very well furnished and well equipped barn conversion that is run by Ann and her family. From the moment you arrive to you handing the keys back nothing is too much trouble. Although you are right in the middle of a busy farm you don't really notice any noise disturbance ,just the clucking of chickens and bleating of the lambs calling for their mums .its 1 mile into watergate bay itself which is easily acheaved on foot and taking the back lane the views are amazing. This barn is a hidden hem at a very good price.

We had a lovely break with our four kids Age 14/12/7/4. They loved the big light space upstairs and the barn is really cosy especially with the wood-burning stove. Very clean. Lovely showers.
Really enjoyed Mawgan Porth beach which is a 5 minute drive away and the older boys did surfing lessons there. We also liked Newquay Zoo where you can return as many times as you want in the week. Another highlight was the sunset on Fistral beach after sampling cod and chips in the Rick Stein restaurant there!
