If your looking for a bite to eat and a place to drink, please don't confuse the two. This pub has an amazing balcony view overlooking Newquay but that's the only time your hear the word amazing in this review. The customer service was shocking and felt more like a robbery when handing over your cash. Tables left uncleaned, families left sitting at unclean Tables, tomato sauce bottles empty but just put back On the Tables, drinks served in plastic glasses and we had to wipe our feet on the way out. Staff did not get the concept of customer service and we asked about whether our desert was coming and actually left. No doubt some poor member of staff is still looking for us or are trying to work out if you need to cook ice cream. The sad thing is that this could be a great place but due to lack of customer service, care, general hygiene and staff showing willing and committment to their role left us feeling empty. Literally they forgot our deserts. My only advice is that management could do with retraining staff and having a long hard look at it's workforce.
