A great place to stay within walking distance of Newquay but with a great beach on the doorstep - and good value for money.
All of the facilities are kept clean and tidy, check is easy and there is 24hr reception. Would definitely recommend.
Could do with a shop/cafe in site for essentials.

Lovely camp site with electric hook up. Services were clean! Shower pressure is really good.
Lovely little base for plenty of sightseeing/ beach trips.
We are very happy to recommend to other campers/ vaners and will be sure to return ourselves.

Porth beach holiday camp. Now we only used it to park up for the day. Its £6 to park all day. The beach is straight over the road. We parked up and got a ticket which was a bit of a nightmare as the machine just wouldnt take some 10p's or 20p's. After 10 minutes we got a ticket to park up. There is a public toilet that you can use which is located at the enterance of the holiday park, it is truely horrible there was water all over the floor no toilet paper and no flush system. It self flushes. But, the best bit is you pay 20p to use this toilet. Good news is there are more toilets on just up from the beach sign posted. I think i would use them in the future.
Staff was friendly. Would use again apart from the loo.

Hi Susan. Thanks for reviewing the car park and toilet which are situated away from the main Holiday Park. The toilet cleans itself after every visit so this is why the floor was wet. It has jets that spray water on the floor to clear any sand etc. Also the toilet flushes on entry and exit so no self flush is required. It does cost 20p to use which goes towards the maintenance of the facility. Hopefully next time you can stay on the Holiday Park itself and check out our award winning shower and toilet block.

Stayed here for a week in a Rio static. It was lovely, clean, well stocked. Beautiful quiet location next to the beach. Take a hairdryer and also comfy mattress covers as the mattresses are waterproof covered for hygiene. Have no problem recommending here. Had a great week.

I stayed here for two weeks in early July with a touring caravan, and I have to say it's one of the best sites I've been at. Well organized, with enough staff to keep the place tidy, and truly excellent showers, toilets, laundry, and dishwashing facilities - all of which were kept in good order on a daily basis. The location is great as well - literally just across the road from the beach, which itself has the usual facilities of coffee shops, pub, lifeguards, etc. And just far enough out of Newquay to be in a different space, though you can easily walk over the cliff into the town if you need to do that. The only thing that surprised me is that there is no shop on site, but that's a small thing compared with the facility that is there.
