“Excellent , This holiday cottage has everything .”
Reviewed 6 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Wow , we loved this place so much , has everything you could possibly need , Pet friendly , with dedicated fields for letting your dog off to stretch his legs , lovely walks in the grounds , beautiful gardens for relaxing in . A Football pitch, a tennis court (tennis balls and rackets provided) and a huge trampoline for the kids but out the way from the cottages from any noise they might make , a very large swimming pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. We stayed in the Scrumpy Cottage , a beautiful traditional stone cottage , but with luxury fittings inside , beds were so comfy and the best I have slept in ,excellent powerful walk in shower . Large flat screen tv , wifi , our own private fully inclosed courtyard garden with hot tub and bbq , They even have a laundry room equipped with with washing machine and tumble dryer and an iron , and a mini library with dvds , books , games , jigsaws and local information. They really have thought of everything !!! I loved this place and will certainly will be returning , tried to book again for next year and already the dates have gone and I'm not surprised one bit , this place was fantastic . The owner Jayne was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us , even coming to see us off when we had to leave . This place is cornwall's little gem .

“Lovely cottage, but could be improved.”
Reviewed 21 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Spent four nights in Scrumpy cottage. Delightful decor. Spotlessly clean and loved the Hot Tub! Had a slight problem with the glass top table as there were no table mats for hot plates, dishes and cups. Had to use kitchen roll! Also no toast rack which was slightly inconvenient. The second bedroom had a wardrobe, but no rail to hang clothes,so had to share with the main bedroom.Could be a problem if four people were sharing the cottage! Also as these are advertised as Luxury cottages it would have been nice to have had our own washing machine and not have had to pay to use the laundry room!

Thanks fro your review Paul, we like your feedback and will look in to changes these areas. The reason for the no washing machines is due to a space thing - we want to make sure that we give you fridge, dishwashers and a washing machine just would mean a lack of space for those things. We made the decision to leave washing machines out. We only have a small charge for the washing machine and dryer of £3.00 to cover our costs. Thanks again jayne

“Very special place for us- not to be missed! ”
Reviewed 20 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

My partner booked this cottage for us as a surprise short break...We stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time to explore Looe and the surrounding area. The group of cottages seem like you are in the middle of nowhere which was great hearing the birds singing each morning, but only a few minutes drive into Looe itself. Best of both worlds :)
On arrival one of the guys (sorry we didn't get his name) greeted us and showed us where to park and where our cottage was. He showed us in and was very helpful answering our questions.
The cottage was great, had everything we could need, including full kitchen utensils to cook. We did bring our own tea bags, coffee and milk as I had read another review that that would be a nice gesture. We didn't mind. I loved that it had a wireless speaker to link up to our music which was handy when we were in the hot tub :)
Before we made it into the hot tub, my partner proposed to me, so this is why this place is so special to us :) obviously celebrated with bubbles in the hot tub after :)
The weather was glorious for much of our stay and after chatting to one of the ladies there (again sorry didn't catch her name either) she showed us where the pool was so we had a dip! Felt like we were abroad!
We did some kayaking up the estuary, explored the town and the local area and will definitely be returning to these cluster of cottages where we got engaged.

Ahhhhh I wish you had told us - we would have sent over some bubbles - CONGRATULATIONS.. Just a plug but we do do weddings here as well so you could bring all your family and friends to celebrate here with you.

Thanks for the review and look forward to seeing you again.
