“Excellent accomodation”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

This is a first class villa with all the amenities. The holiday village is undergoing a transformation but don't let this deter you as Rock Pools is fabulous accommodation and excellent base to tour around Cornwall.

The villa is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need.

Am ideal hideaway to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would thoroughly recommend and the owners Graham and Pat are very helpful. 10 out of 10

“Lovely villa, had a great holiday”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The villa was just like the photos. It was lovely and clean and the décor was well thought out. We loved sitting on the balcony for a drink in the evening. The Black Rock café made a lovely breakfast and The Coddy Shack was great for fish and chips. The walk to Looe was enjoyable along the cliffs and at low tide across the rocks. We also found the coastal path the opposite way towards Seaton took you through the woods to the Monkey Sanctuary which our 10 year old daughter loved. We found it really helpful to have all the information of the villa and leaflets, maps etc. Thank you for a lovely holiday and we really hope we can visit again in the future.

Thank you for your kind words, we do work very hard to maintain the villa to a high standard, after all its the least you deserve when you book a break away.
There are so many great walks from the Villa, the Monkey Sanctuary is a hot favourite for all ages, it seems most of us can't resist the cute little Monkeys fooling around!

“What a 'gem' of a place”
Reviewed 16 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Kathy & I wanted some chill time away, home from home. Well we found it. Great location and a comfortable villa/chalet, clean and fresh with furnishings and décor of great quality and taste. As with one of the other reviews, the sofa to put your feet up in the evening was a lovely bonus and all the basics, such as washing up liquid, coffee, tea etc, just there. There are even games, books and DVDs to suit most, plus body board and other things, (just in case your forget your own). You'll need to go there to find out!
We were, 'out if season', which suited us perfectly but it was a shame the beach cafe was closed the few times we went to try it out. But then again, it was pretty quiet despite most chalets being occupied.
If you've not been, then the coastal walks, Looe and Polperro are a must see and the Eden project is only a 30 min drive away.
Top quality fish and chips at the Coddy Shack.
Oh - unless you're with O2, you won't get a signal. Bliss! However, the accommodation does have good internet service.
Can't wait to go back!

We are so lucky to have the peace of the location by the sea, yet still be in striking distance of lots of great places to enjoy.

“Stunning location, home from home.”

The Counters holiday review

We stayed here over the early May bank holiday 2014 with our teenage children and my Mum. It was a beautiful location and so relaxing. The views from the villa are amazing with the beach just minutes away and the beach cafe is on your doorstep too - we would definitely recommend their breakfasts!. The villa is incredible value for money and offers everything you could wish for in a holiday home. The kitchen is very well equipped and we all enjoyed putting our feet up on the sofa (which pulls out) and watching a movie after a day of exploring in Looe, Polperro and Fowey. The children had great fun playing the Cornish version of Monopoly! We hope to definitely return soon.
