Second visit and again all good. Very relaxing and never tire of the view, the reward for walking up a steep hill!
What a fabulous apartment, it had everything we could have wished for, including a cafetiere for the essential morning brew! Absolutely stunning view, day or night! Loved it - we may be back...
6 Russell Court looked very nice in the online photos but this does not do it justice. The apartment is more spacious than we anticipated and the bonus is the balcony - stunning views over Looe, which we could have sat and looked at all day! Apartment is well equipped and comfortable, just the job thanks.
From the moment we looked at the view from the balcony we knew this apartment was what we wanted. There is designated parking for 1 car and a nice clean lift to take you up 2 floors to the flat, the whole building is clean and tidy and very well lit by natural light. The flat was extremely well stocked with TV,DVD, washer, cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, freezer and washing airer. I have probably forgotten something but basically everything you need you get. The flat is very well decorated and extremely clean, rooms are large and beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage space for clothes. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the dining area is lovely with views over Looe and the river.
THe real star of the show is the balcony with small table and 4 stacking metal chairs and a view to die for, the sun shines on it all afternoon and when it goes dark you get fantastic views of Looe lit up in front of you.
There are a couple of small downsides, 1 is the walk up and down a steep hill to the town and the second is the amount and quality of essentials like toilet rolls and washing up liquid but the biggest down is the constant racket from seagulls BUT hey ho this is the seaside.
While here we went to the Minack theatre to see a play and would highly recommend this beautiful place, also we went to the Eden project which again is fantastic and even better when it is free using Tesco clubcard points. We also did the coastal walk from Looe to Polperro which was the highlight of our stay a exhilarating walk with wonderful views to a magical old typically Cornish port (Polperro ). We also went to the national trust property at Cotehill again this was a lovely day out.
We visited the lovely places of Port Isaacs and Mevagissey which we again would recommend.
I would highly recommend this flat and what is nearby.
