just stayed in the cottage after booking via Cornish collection. The house itself was generally ok and had everything you need.
The big issue was the noise!!! I know it is a harbour but the seagulls can be heard in all the bedrooms at all hours and it is really loud. My wife and i reverted to ear plugs but they only just took the edge off. Really does need better glazing if renting out to keep out the noise.
Really good location as a couple of minutes walk to the beach, harbour and it is in the town itself. Beware that the car park at the property is only fit for a ford Ka type car and nothing else. The carpark pass is for the Millpool car park which is a fitteen minute walk across the other side of Looe. We parked on the car park and left the car for the week. We did have a second car and I left this on a side road near where you collect the key. If you walk down Barbican hill, it comes straight to the property. It is only 0.4 miles but it is a sheer hill so not for the faint hearted!! You can get weekly passes but the small car park in town is ALWAYS full and busy. If you stay in Looe and do the beach, you can leave the cars. A weekly pass is £30 but they do not guarantee a space so use the free street. Beach is great, rock pooling is simply the best place as is crabbing off the harbour wall. My 7 year old daughters first time crabbing and see loved it that much, I had to go 4 times ( at 3 hours a time) but loved it and the cheapest way to entertain the kids. Boat trips, 2 hours-full day fishing available in abundance.
The upstairs bedroom also has no door on it and you can hear everything in the kitchen so beware.
If you can sleep through anything and do not need to move your car(s) it is a great cottage and location.

It was our first visit to Looe in 30 years. It is a very busy town but still has it's Cornish charm. I booked this property because although it had parking for a small car at the front of the cottage it had parking in the main car park over the bridge in West Looe. Because we had a large car this was required. On arrival it was obvious we would have to unload the car and move on quickly as we were blocking the road. (Small lane on a hill). We discovered the car park pass was not in the property. I phoned the manager of the property and was told the previous tenants had taken the pass but we would have it in a few days. It never appeared and neither did the manager. (Anthony) I spoke to the Agents who tried calling him but he didn't answer his phone. Wasn't just not taking my calls then!! This caused us a big problem as the whole idea was we didn't want to use our car every day and had to come back early every day to put money in the parking meter. To cut it short we spent £30 on parking and was assured we would get it back. We haven't and I now don't believe there was a parking pass. The property itself was OK. Very good position in the centre of Looe. There is one bathroom and a toilet and sink that is called an on-suite for the master bedroom on the 4th floor. Very good bed in this room. The other 2 bedrooms are a decent size. The main bathroom is large with a good size shower and bath. The kitchen is a good size as is the seating area. The best room is the basement which is the TV room and this is large and cosy at the same time. The property needs some updating as it is a bit tired now but is OK. I don't think it gets a very good clean on the day of arrival as it hadn't been hoovered. There were bits all over the carpet and could have been better. I wouldn't go back to this property but it's location and general size would make it good for family's.
The parking issue was a major problem for us and Anthony couldn't be bothered to sort it out. I wonder what he does as he was unreachable after our first call. Obviously he recognised the number!!!! Really not good enough.
