Having unsuccessfully tried to stay here last August we managed to stay for a long weekend in early February. The staff were very friendly and most helpful and our room - a large room with double beds and a small balcony - was very comfortable. As this was during the coldest few days of the winter season it was obvious that the bedroom heating was inadequate. Otherwise the Leisure Facilities were very good, together with the bar, dining room and food were all very good.

Room Tip: Sea View with Balcony is a must!

After another fantastic weekend stay at the Hannafore Point Hotel I would like to say a thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make the stay an enjoyable experience ,from reception, dining, bar and housekeeping staff i could not fault any.Our room was lovely yes a sea view and would agree with other reviews its the way to go .we have stayed before in a back room no where near as nice well worth the extra for a sea view. Some rooms have already had face lifts and others are being done, but to be honest for the excellent staff superb views and lovely food i can forget a few tired areas .Cant wait for our next weekend there.

Room Tip: defo sea view

My partner and I stayed in the Hannafore point hotel in looe after being let down by another hotel nearby. we booked last minute and were very happy to get a lovely suite in Hannafore, with 2 bedrooms and a terrace which was perfect for our dog... who was allowed everywhere in the hotel, just beware you will get told off by the 'manager' if you let your dog on the furniture!..ooops! i did feel the service was lacking it seemed big groups staying at the hotel got first dibs on the service, we ended up going a couple doors down the road for our meals, Tom Sawers, which had great service, beautiful food and very friendly atmosphere. they also have a B&B, next time i stay in Looe i would proberbly stay there. The spa in Hannafore was a nice added bonus when booking this hotel, which we took advantage of, the pool was nice and warm, water looked clean but the tiles looked quite grubby, the steam room was georgous, the sauna was very tiny you could fit 3 people max in there.

Stayed Boxing Day as a last minute getaway for the night. The views there are unbeatable. Friendly welcome at reception, spotless room with all you need and had a wonderful meal.. Great venue for weddings too with the decked front area and views, perfect setting for a romantic seaside wedding reception. This is the place to stay in Looe. :)

Room Tip: Go for Sea view.

10 of us booked for Christmas and had a lovely stay, the food was of exceptional quality and the staff who were a mixture of all age groups where very attentive to the various needs of our group, which made it a superb dining experience.
A suggestion and not a critism it would be nice to see some specialist entertainment weekends planned for the future as this hotel has so much more to offer.all in all breathtaking views with superb food and clean accommodation, what more could you ask for .
