Beautiful property, everything provided. Clean and tastefully furnished.
Peaceful with stunning sea views, lovely breakfast at the Black Rock Cafe on the beach. Looe, Polperro and Seaton very close.
Steps were a bit of a killer :) But I am not very fit and over 60!
Will definitely recommend.
Lovely chalet, very clean and modern. Great sea views and only a short walk to the beach. Host was quick to contact us to confirm the booking.
Would highly recommend.
Arriving after a long journey we puffed our way up the steps! The first time is always the hardest - within a couple of days we were getting to the top breathing normally! The view is stunning and well worth the effort involved! On the first day it rained all day ..so most of that was spent in bed looking at the fabulous view watching the cloud formations and the waves crashing on the beach and just chilling, the rest of the week was wonderfully mild and sunny, lots of walking done with the dog. The walks to Seaton across the beach at low tide and over the cliffs to Looe are my particular favourites. The villa is beautifully clean, has everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday. Your four legged friend is well catered for and the villa is carefully designed to be pet friendly with easy to sweep floors and few soft furnishings so even with my Old English Sheepdog I could relax and not worry that she would leave her mark. Well done Karen for keeping the villa in tip top condition, I had sort of expected the villa to look a little 'tired' ..I have visited several times over the last few years, but the quality and condition is consistently excellent. The care and commitment Karen has to the property and to providing an excellent service to her guests is second to none.
We loved our 3 night break at Sea View! Karen has done an amazing job on the decor and it is just so easy to 'be' in. The view out to sea from the bed is priceless. Absolutely as described but somehow even better! Don't be daunted by the steps, they're way easier than they look and you can stop to enjoy the view on the way to catch your breath. We took our dogs with us and they were in heaven. Met some of the friendly locals on the beach. The beach cafe and bar looked like they'd be great and are certainly in a wonderful spot but they were closed as it was winter (Karen had told us this in advance). If you're hesitating, my advice is 'don't'! Just go ahead and book and you won't regret it. We're definitely going back.
We have been to many places of self catering which allow us to take our dogs. They have always been adequate but Sea View knocked them out the park! Every little detail had been thought of. We were 4 adults & 1 bullie boy (even he was calmer). The views were breath taking and local information was abundant. We are at present working out how soon we can go back!
