This place has only been open a few months and is lovely and fresh.

We stayed in a double room (bunk bed with double on the bottom) and had our own sink, but shared a bathroom. Everything was clean, we received a warm welcome and our host was really lovely. The kitchen and lounge were welcoming and had everything you could need.

We were there with a group of hens(?) who were very conscientious (we heard them come in around 5am shushing each other rather than screaming), but it seems that this place is attracting big groups, so that's something to be aware of as they can rather take over.

It is also worth knowing that if you're in a double room, your bathroom is not truly 'shared with one other double room' - it is next to the kitchen/lounge and anyone can access it. Although we didn't have problems, I was worried that the large group would start using it as a supplement to their own en-suite.

If I could offer any suggestions for improvment, it would be to offer a vegetarian breakfast (I was so jealous of everyone eating full english while I munched cereal!).

Just stayed at The Bunkroom Chester with my college friends for a get together. Well what a fantastic place to stay. Hadn't heard of it before. It had apparently only opened before Xmas. To sum it up, it was only £17 per person per night. We had the room of 6 (6 girls) had an en suite. The room was very clean really and bright and warm. The kitchen and dining/ sitting area was bright and modern. There was a few other people staying and we had a good laugh. The manager Chris was really nice and helpful. The bar wasn't finished however but that was ok, it's being renovated at the moment and considering what the rest of the place is, I'm sure it will be great.. Defiantly will use the bunk room again.
