Good live music. Food is on offer although we didn't eat. A few nice cocktails available, I had a peach Bellini & a strawberry Bellini both delicious. Friendly atmosphere.

we were attracted on a cold day by the open fire, comfy seating and relaxed atmosphere. The bar was fairly quiet when we arrived but started to get busy so we quickly ordered a sharing platter, excellent cheeses, pate, with lovely fresh bread, and biscuits as well and plenty of accompaniments, more than enough for two. The wine list is amazing. We were not surprised to hear that this is a family owned business with lots of personal touches and friendly staff, unlike many of the numerous chain venues more typical of Chester. A good find, we will be back.

What a great bar, with loads of atmosphere a great find with lovely open fire and live music. Food looked great unfortunately already eaten. Lovely and warm on a cold rainy evening.

Absolutely great. Lovely staff. £10 tickets for the night brought canapés and Prosecco. Great beers. The £15 cheese platter was terrific value - 4 big pieces of lovely cheese with biscuits bread olives chutneys etc. Live music, lovely clientele. Everywhere we're going in this trip to the "North" staff have been so friendly.
