Cycling to Thaxted from Stamford, wife needed some urgent caffeine and cake to make the final 12 miles. What a lovely coffee shop and the carrot cake was divine. Will put this on the list for great cycling cafes.

Really lovely independent cafe in Linton with a lovely array of fresh sweet and savory treats. Always something different to choose from which is a lovely touch.
I have been here a number of times as it's an easy place to get to from Cambs, London and Suffolk so a handy spot off point for both me and friends and family who are now also addicted!
Not sure whether the lemon meringue cake or the chocolate salted brownie is my favourite- I think I'll have to go back and try them both again just to see!!!

We called in here on a trip to the UK with family. The staff are wonderful, the cakes home made and delicious and the soups warming. They sell slices, biscuits an assortment of hot food and the most beautiful cakes. Seating inside and out. Would visit agin if in the area.

What a find! Just off the beaten track - but only just - this delightful eatery has got it all: it's independent; it sources locally; it's quirky (but in a nice way) with some imaginative touches; the breakfast is delicious and the cakes (baked by the owner) look amazing (next time we have to have afternoon tea!).

There's a whole heap more praise my wife and I could lavish on this establishment (how anyone could grade it less than 5, we have no idea) but I must finish by saying that the coffee truly hits the spot and the staff are lovely and deserve the very best of continued success.

And do check out their website!

This was a delightful find; quirky with a great range of out-of-this-world brownies (and other cakes)!
