Spent a sunny but chilly morning on a punting tour with Scudamore’s. Josh was our guide and it was great to learn about the history of the buildings and places we saw from the Cam. Lots of colourful stories which made it interesting. It felt very relaxing and thanks to the blankets quite comfortable despite the cold. Would recommend.
A group of us went on one of the evening bat safari's (summer 2017) and had a fantastic time. Not only is it very relaxing being punted down the Cam (away from town, through trees and fields), but the wildlife watching was excellent. We were given devices which could convert inaudible bat noises into sounds, so we could hear them all flying above us. Lots of bats seen (4 species on our night) as well as a tawny owl! I would definately reccomend this to anyone with a spare evening in Cambridge, wildlife lover or peace and quiet chaser! The kids on our trip seemed to really enjoy it too, so this would be great for families.
