This flat is very well placed and for a city centre apartment the garage really is a boon. Inside it is warm and comfortable, back bedroom seemed a bit chilly but my son coped! It is well equipped with everything you could need. Mr Aizlewood was very helpful. One or two of the fittings are beginning to show their age but overall a great place.

Thanks for the review Anabel and it was great to meet you and your lovely family.

Thanks also for your positive comments about the apartment.I'm sorry that the levels of cleanliness were not what you expected.I'm not sure why you needed to move the furniture around ,but I have reminded the cleaners of their responsibilities and have scheduled regular deep cleans.I also have to point out that during our correspondence I did offer to rectify any problems immediately .I certainly do not expect guests to clean "all days" so am guessing this was a choice. When inspected the shower curtain look as new, so I'm assuming you washed this -of course you shouldn't have had to do that.As far as the mould is concerned I wasn't able to see this on my next visit, as this had been cleaned away from the silicon -thanks!I saw a slight discolouration on the ceiling but am guessing this is because over time, the extractor fan had been turned off and therefore moisture allowed to accumulate. The discolouration has now been removed and painted over with anti damp paint.I admit the fan is noisy so I will get this checked out.

As far as the food cupboard is concerned , a lot of guests find this useful.I checked that none of the food was perishable and pointed out that to you that you could use what you wanted (oil, salt ,herbs etc),or not use any of it and chuck away anything you didn't like the look of -if you felt the need.

I disagree that the courtyard has "abandoned stuffs" there.Unfortunately the cleaners need to put their bucket, mop etc somewhere and leaving it in the property could lead to unwanted smells. However I think though I'll invest in an outdoor storage cupboard, so these items are out of sight.

The coffee maker is an excellent idea.We do have a cafetiere as you know but yes a machine is better.

I am so glad you and your family enjoyed your vacation and hope that you visit our great city again!

“Cambridge Towers-new apartment”
Reviewed 12 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The apartment is excellent, very modern and within easy walking distance of almost everything. Marc who manages bookings is super helpful. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, Very clean, good facilities, wonderful balcony in the sun, etc etc blah blah blah. I highly recommend this place but don't forget to take a pint of milk along with you for a cuppa upon arrival. Great weekend.Thank you.

“Very nice apartment”
Reviewed 5 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We (couple with two children from Spain) stayed for one week at the apartment. This is a nice and comfortable apartment. It is located at a quiet area, very close to the centre of Cambridge (four minutes walking to the Grafton Centre, and ten-fifteen minutes walking to the bus station of Drummer street and the shopping areas of Lions Yard and the Great Arcade). You can also arrive to the train station in ten minutes walking). The apartment has all the needed for a pleasant stay in Cambridge. Highly recommendable

“A good place to stay”
Reviewed 26 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Booking was straightforward and there were prompt responses to enquiries raised. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. The apartment was exactly as described, it was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Secure underground parking was a plus. The apartment was ideal for our family group of 2 couples and 2 singles. It is situated in a residential area and we found it very quiet and peaceful.
