Carolina was very friendly and helpful on my arrival. Check n no problem. Rooms set over round floor and first floor. Bedrooms on first floor are accessed by a step ish stair case. Room 4 was lovely loads of room and ensuite with a few little extras in the bathroom as we all forget something when going away. Tea and coffee making facilities small wardrobe with hangers ironing board, iron and 2 dressings gowns. My on,y problem I had was the power shower as when someone else in the building was using water ( flushing toilet or using shower) the water dud go from a very nice temperature to
arctic cold. Would use again as ideal location for myself on a salsa event.

I enjoyed my stay here. My room was large and freshly renovated. There’s a large bay window making it bright and airy. The bathroom was tiled in black marble and featured a large bathtub. The breakfast offered many healthy choices. The new dining room is lovely. There were intermittent problems with the wi-fi but I think that was the fault of the provider. The bus to the center of Cambridge stops almost at the doorstep. The train station is only about a mile away.

Room tip: The front room upstairs is very nice.

If you want to pay your money, overlook a shopping trolley and the 'neighbours' drunkenly arguing, shouting and threatening each other and you (for looking at them), then this is the place for you. Don't dare ask for your money back. The proprietor will promise you a full refund and will then take the money from your bank anyway. Not that we met her. She texted us the door code to let ourselves in. It was the Cambridge I had always dreamed of. Stepping over a squashed, dread frog on the porch whose eyes had just been plucked out by an angry looking crow. Ahh bliss. Oh and its really near the city centre. About 30 minutes in a taxi if you can find one. But the best thing is Carolina herself. A vicious cow who took our money because we dared to mention that we would review her B and B on trip advisor. Having worked in tourism for 10 years I would highly NOT recommend this place. The rooms were ok but it just felt like a dodgy sham from the first confirmation email, even to the point that the bank reference when they take your money is under a different name. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! The travelodges in the city and near cambridge junction are far nicer, cleaner and better value for money. And they even smile at you there and they don't scream down the phone at you! Happy Holidays!

Slightly quirky set up in this Semi Detached guest house but all very pleasant. With it being Cambridge you don't get anything (decent) for under £70 anywhere and so for £80 B & B a couple of miles out of the town centre this is completely acceptable..

I have stayed in most of the guest houses around this area as I go to visit friends twice a year and this is acceptable with nicely set out rooms although I had a blocked sink (quite badly actually that it is hard to see how this has been missed) and the television would not get a signal (not an issue for me as I had no time and was in no desperate need - but would be an irritant for others).

Breakfast was nicely served with "help yourself" to cereals and toast etc. and the the cooked breakfast comes from "next door" (again a little odd) but all was tasty and nicely cooked - so does it matter where it come from...?

Anyway the lady owner seemed to take on my tips about the TV and sink so hopefully the problems will be resolved for the next guests in room 8....

Would not hesitate to go back but by the same token I'll happily stay in several other local B & Bs as well......
