“Wonderful cottage break.”
Reviewed 5 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed on the ground floor of the property conversion. The cottage was beautifully presented with everything you could ask for. When we arrived there was a goody basket in the kitchen, which included everything from shortbread to home grown herbs and tomatoes, (a really lovely touch).

We were in the area to visit family, and hosted dinner for them one evening. When they visited, they commented on how lovely and spacious the cottage was, in particular how nice the garden area was.

Thank you Little Barn for a wonderful stay. We hope to return next year.

stayed for the second time here Outstanding accommodation . It is in a quiet location but easy access to shops in village and a 15-20 minute walk to bar/ restaurant . Outdoor space is amazing and suitable for us as we were visiting family in the area highly recommended

“Perfect! All you would ever want when away from home at New Year”
Reviewed 4 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Even before we arrived at this delightful cottage we were confident of a warm welcome from Sean and Tracey Reid. Nice to have an email from the owners wishing us a safe trip - and a bottle of bubbly and other goodies waiting for us as a welcome gift!

Our initial tour (courtesy of Tracey) of this lovely property assured us that we had made an excellent choice of a place to stay and have our family come to visit us there. The spacious lounge/dining area and adjacent hallway provided a super space for our grandchildren to play and having the two couches allowed the adults to chill out too!

The kitchen was larger than we expected to find in this type of accommodation and well equipped. And the fridge freezer was absolutely indispensable for our plans to entertain 6 adults and 3 children on one of the days. Tracey generously made sure that we were supplied with additional chairs etc to allow us to do that. Having the owners on the property was also a plus to deal quickly with our requests for help or information.

Storage space was more than we needed - with wardrobes in both bedrooms and a large hall cupboard. So Christmas presents could be out of sight until it was time for opening! The wifi was the best I have ever experienced in a rental 15Mbps download. At one time we had 6 devices connected without a hitch.

The accommodation has two patios with furniture and a spacious garden - we could imagine it as being a lovely place to relax in the warmer weather.

We had no difficulty entertaining our grandchildren. Roald Dahl Museum at Great Missenden, Whipsnade Zoo, Mead Open Farm near Dunstable. All in all a great holiday!

“Excellent, spacious and well furnished accommodation.”
Reviewed 29 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The Little Barn was in a great setting with wonderful outside space as well as lots of room in exceptionally well laid out accommodation.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, it was very clean and there were lots of useful extras in the kitchen too.
If you want a spacious and relaxing setting choose Little Barn.

“Charming, with all facilities”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my wife and children. Nice place with 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, master bedroom with double bed, bathroom with handshower in bath, entrance hallway, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge, and sitting room with dining room table at one end and sofas and TV at the other. Free wi-fi worked well. Front windows look out over lawns and gravel driveway to the owners' house. Other windows overlook the beautiful garden with grass, fruit trees and outdoor seating and BBQ area. It was all spotlessly clean. Bathroom handshower was the only slight limitation but this was minor. The owners Sean and Tracey are very helpful. We used it as a base for local excursions and day-trips to London. It is 10 minutes' drive from Aylesbury and Haddenham stations. There is separate rental for the upstairs loft and there is some noise from people walking upstairs, but this was not a big problem. There is a grocery shop in Stone about 5 minutes walk up the road.

Thanks for your kind review.

For clarification, Little Barn (ground floor) doesn't have a separate shower cubicle but has a shower within the bath and a shower screen. The shower head can be mounted on the wall fixing or hand held, has good pressure and hot water on demand.
