Brilliant show. The event was well organised and ran to time. Drink quest went quickly and staff were friendly. Glad to hear they are renovating as the seats are quite uncomfortable, which is only downside of,the venue.

Gregory Porter a master of his craft. Exceptional performance from Gregory an his musicians. So sad I had to see him at the Colston Hall. The seatings hard am very uncomfortable with no leg room I’m 5.10 an I was jammed into
My seat for 3 hours extremely uncomfortable. So many people got up an left half way through the performance. When I went to the toilet I was disgusted £40,000000 has been spent on the referb, did anyone tell the Colston hall that the toilets are the calling card of a establishment. Obviously not. On a positive note the bar service is Exellent. Gregory Porter deserves a better venue than the Colston hall. Considering this is Bristols main Music hall is sooooo disappointing.

Hello

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to read that you had a disappointing experience with the venue. The refurbishment of the venue has not started yet. This will commence in June 2018 and will take approximately 20 months to complete.
We are aware that the building is looking a little tired but we are proud to be raising the £48.8 million needed to give Bristol the concert hall it deserves to do a complete transformation of the auditorium and backstage areas. Details of this transformation project can be found on our website.
Once again we are sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience.

Enjoyed evening, good venue although was pretty warm. Great to see that there were jugs and jugs of water by the bar available free to help yourself throughout the evening - well done! God view from our seats, KK13/14

We have been to Colston Hall on three occasions. Two comedians and a concert.

For a concert the venue is great as it is intimate and you don't take in much of a the surrounding.

For a sit down show, the venue looks tired and much like a scout hall. Beers are reasonably priced. The seats are, again, like a scout hall. Not my favourite venue but it suits a purpose.
