What an amazing piece of engineering. Mr Brunel certainly excelled on this bridge. The views are fantastic. It's a must see piece of Victorian engineering.

The first ever suspension bridge ever designed by a most brilliant engineer for his time, a very clever man for all the inventions he carried out in his life time.

Who could not help but be moved by this magnificent bridge, which has featured in many photographs and in films and TV.

You can see thebridge dominated in a positive way from many different locations in Bristol as well as taking a walk across.

We had an exhilarating hike up the hills of Clifton, through the beautiful Georgian streets to the Clifton Bridge - which is a Brunel Masterpiece. Not only that, it is a beautiful part of Bristol - i had not anticipated the height of the bridge or the natural beauty of the gorge and river. A must for any visitor to Bristol :-)

A two hour tour of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Leigh Woods Abutment, was entertaining, informative and excellent value for money (£14). Our guide, Gordon, relayed technical information and humour with ease, with his extensive knowledge of the Bridge and the history of Bristol. The vaults themselves are fascinating. You have to see it to believe it. Highly recommended.
