Pre show meal. We arrived and a sign says "ask at bar to be seated" we joined the que and eventually got served by a rude and clearly out of her depth member of staff who barked that we should have a table and that she can't serve us until we have one. We explained about the sign and she said she didn't know what was going on in the restaurant and there were no seats. Her tone was unpleasant.
She came across as a rude and dismissive staff member who could not cope under pressure of a que. the food was average-a lot of shredded veg in the wraps. Good chips. Felt the beer was overpriced for what it was.
Overall, the poor service will stop me from returning. I would rather spend my hard earned money at the many places in Bristol that are friendly and welcoming.
