“A peaceful rural retreat amid lovely countryside with a wealth of things to do”
Reviewed 6 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

An extremely well- equipped and comfortable cottage set in very pretty garden and perfect for al-fresco eating. Wonderful food in local pub and throughout the area. Superb butcher cum greengrocer and delicatessen in village. Fresh fish galore from beach in Aldeburgh perfect for the BBQ. Ideally situated to visit a wealth of interesting towns and villages.
A little difficult to spot as set behind high hedge immediately opposite very idiosyncratic village hall.

“Beautiful & Spacious Suffolk Cottage”
Reviewed 5 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We recently travelled to Suffolk from the US for a wedding. We stayed in White Sheep cottage, which has already been well-described in other reviews. We often rent apartments (and occasionally houses) when travelling in Europe. White Sheep Cottage stands out because it is nicely updated, well-maintained, and spacious while still keeping the charm of an old English cottage. The surrounding countryside is spectacular, and their are very interesting villages and towns nearby. We would highly recommend the cottage.

“Gorgeous spacious cottage with beautiful gardens.”
Reviewed 27 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We have enjoyed several holidays in White sheep cottage and will definitely be returning in the future. The gorgeous cottage in the lovely village of Peasenhall is excellently equipped and we loved the spacious rooms and beautiful gardens. We spent many hours sat in the garden watching the dragonflies. We had wonderful sleeps in the most comfortable beds. We would highly recommend a holiday here.

“Fantastic cottage, well equipped and excellently located for coast and countryside - a wonderful find”
Reviewed 19 May 2013 for a stay in August 2012

My wife and stayed in Black Sheep in August 2012 with 1 young child and my Mum. The cottage is absolutely lovely. Well equipped and chic but retains much of the old charm of this ancient cottage. Lovely size room and three bathrooms plus massive kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Lovely garden too. Peasenhall is lovely although the village doesn't have a pub there is one less than 20 mins walk away. Plenty of village shops, a brilliant deli, butchers and tea shop. The cottage is really well placed for coast and country. Southwold and Alborough just a shirt car ride away. We would highly recommend staying here. Thanks.

“Perfect Cottage in lovely Village”
Reviewed 9 May 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We have stayed at White sheep cottage twice now. It is ideally situated for the coast, Southwold, and Aldeburgh. The Cottage it self is very spacious and characteristic, with a real holiday feel to it. The owner has alway been more than helpful with any requests and questions we have had and has responded very quickly. In the village there is a fantastic butchers shop and deli, also a small village store. The butchers is exceptional, ideal for that summer BBQ or as we did a Turkey or Vension for Christmas.
Ther is plenty of room as there are 3 bedrooms 2 ensuites and a large downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is massive and great for cooking and congregating.
Suffolk is a great place to visit and White Sheep Cottage fits the bill for somewhere to stay.
