Before our arrival we made a booking and asked the office staff if payment with credit cards will be accepted. It was confirmed, you can pay with credit cards. So we -a group of 4 people - tried to find this hotel with restaurant. The way uphill is difficult and dangerous because of the damaged street conditions.
Upon arrival there were only two other guests.
We took a seat on the terrace where you have a wonderful view overlooking the landscape.
Then we received the menu. The menu was offering a limited number of meals.
When the waiter appeared it turned out that 50% of the meals were not available.
So we ordered a few standard meal. The taste was between poor and average.
House wine was available.
After a stay of one hour we wanted to pay but no waiter was seen anymore because at lunch time we were the only guests.
We were waiting for 15 minutes for our waiter but he disappeared. So we tried to find staff in the hotel. After another 10 minutes we found the waiter who informed us that soon the chef would arrive in his office.
Then the office was opened and we gave him our credit card. Then he told us that the card is not working. We informed him that 2 hours before we paid with the same card at another shop.
Then I gave him the next card and he told us that this card is not working as well.
We reminded him that we have done the booking only we got told from the hotel staff that we can pay with our credit cards.
Suddenly I was able to pay with my credit card. All of us have seen these experiences.
I cannot recommend this restaurant.
My individual rating:
Service: 1 point
Preparation and quality of meals:1- 2 points
Value for money: 1-2 points
Location: 3 points

We had a 24 hour reservation for a private party. The house is up in Ourika and has fantastic view, and we were so excited to spend the night there, but an accumulation of mishaps/ lack of maintenance put a damper on our night away.

Members of our party arrived the day of our party around 3 pm. The house was dirty and the rooms were not made yet. We waiting patiently and helped the housekeepers set up the house. Moreover, the pool was filled but was green with growths, as it had not been maintained prior to our arrival.

When we asked the manager/ owner to turn on the heat, she refused to. After negotiations, she agreed to turn it on in the living room area and claimed she would turn it on in the rooms at night.

At 8 pm, the managers left, leaving us alone (miles away from the city on a beaten trail). We asked for phone contacts in case something went wrong and were given the manager's phone number. A few hours into the party, we realized that the heaters in the living room had gone off and the ones in the bedrooms had never been turned on. We tried to contact the owner, but she did not answer our messages or phone calls. A few hours after that, we realized the water had been cut off. We were unable to shower, brush or teeth, flush the toilets, or do our dishes. We continued calling and messaging the owner the night of the party and the morning after, with no success.

Before we left, another manager was present and expressed insincere apologies. We are extremely disappointed in this beautiful location's lack of maintenance and the managers' failure to monitor and fix the heating and water issues.

Although we catered our own dinner and brunch during this trip, we ate lunch here last year and the food was inedible.

This place would be truly magical if it were managed appropriately.

The hotel, our room and ambience/views are second to none for most part. Views across olive groves and mountains are truly stunning and worthy of any winning photo competition.

The hotel is brilliant, with excellent cleanliness and good food but the food isn't value for money. I'm happy to pay what ever when I'm eating but begrudge feeling you've been done on price which is how you feel here. Breakfast is included and again, you're found wanting as they don't provide everything you're meant to have.

The staff are friendly and helpful but do take their time and don't always follow up on things you ask for. Overall I would consider coming back and as I've said, the views alone would do that but the food issues did leave a sour taste (no pun intended). Well kept, clean and so peaceful but have your wallet full if you want to eat well!

Room Tip: Go for anything but the room that has a terrace onto the restaurant area!!

This was the second Hotel of our trip after 3 days in Marrakech, it took about 45mins to get here. On arrival we where given tea and pastries shown our room and given a tour of the HOTEL AND GROUNDS.
The Hotel has a huge roof terrace which is a great place to look at the stars at night, The pool is huge, warm and set in the beautiful grounds, the outdoor gym has enough stuff to do a decent workout . The inside of the hotel is very nice many huge leather sofas and chairs, bar area, loads of tables for eating at, and Fireplaces (this must be a great place to socialize in the winter months) it was so hot when we stayed here that we spent all our time outside, at ate outside on the dining terrace.
The room was huge with a massive bed, Twin sinks in the Bathroom and a rainfall shower with a jet attachment as well.
Bit disappointed that the TV only seemed to have 1 channel available to watch and that was in french.
As it was Ramadan the Hotel was not serving and alcohol which would have been nice to be told about before we arrived here as when on holiday i do like a drink with my evening meal and we had had no problem getting Alcohol in Marrakech.
It seemed that most of the staff spoke very little english and we spoke very little french but we seemed to get along ok. We where the only guests there for the 4 days we stayed so it was a little quiet. This is a ideal Hotel for a group of friends to stay at but a bit to quiet if you are there on your own, I think it has about 10 rooms so would think it will always feel a nice intimate place to stay at.
The breakfast and evening meals were very good, fresh and tasty

When we visited we were the only guests. How lovely to have this gorgeous place to ourselves. The Kasbah is tastefully decorated and our room was huge! The staff were happy to cater to my dietary requirements and prepare vegetarian dishes. Everywhere was very clean. The pool is lovely and I spent most of our four night stay cooling off in it! Despite the language barrier (I can only manage basic phrases in French) we were able to enjoy a trip to the local Berber market, a drive through the mountains & an evening walk to a plateau to view the sunset. The views are amazing & it was lovely to relax on the sun beds with just the birds for company. This would be a great place to visit for a special birthday or anniversary with family or friends. It is ideal for large groups. If you enjoy walking or biking this is a good location. The TV only has a French language channel but you can play DVDs. We caught up on our reading & sleep.

Room Tip: Our room was no. 2 on ground floor overlooking the pool.
