Everybody knows Goa is famous for its beaches. But only the travel freaks, me included, would love to discover the other side of Goa - The jungles and Falls.
dudhsagar falls is simply amazing and I found it amazing at a time when the rains had not yet started!!! Imagine what would it be post rains.

The road towards the falls is definitely not good, hence you will find only heavy duty vehicles taking you to the spot. There is crowd always at the falls, hence it is advisable to reach there early, preferably between 8-9am to enjoy your time. One will need to trek a bit, beyond the final halt of the jeep and the trek is not very difficult, but definitely not meant for the old or anyone who has trouble walking on stones and climbing small rocks.

Overall it is a must see site in Amche Goa!!! :-).

It takes full day to complete the trip - I felt it is not worth because there are better places to visit.
If you are looking for falls better go to some other places.

Apart from sun and sand of Goa, it is different. One should visit this while visiting Goa. It is situated at boarder of goa and karnataka. Good place for swimmers. One should visit it in monsoon for better view. Beware of monkeys as there are so many monkeys there. Please don't visit it if you are afraid of them. Memorable visit.

We visited this water fall. Journey to the water fall is adventurous.. The water fall is at the border of Goa & Karnataka. One has to wait to get the tickets and there is always a queue. The water fall is simply breathtaking and four-tier falling from top of the mountain & on railway track.
