We expected a hotel outside the village and in the hills but is lies close to the centre. So, lot of traffic noise, barking dogs and smog. Staff in general looks more interested in eachother than in its customers. At breakfast we had to wait to get coffee as a customer. Wifi does not work in the rooms in the end of the corridor (where the best rooms are because of the view). Took very long time to get hot water in the shower. Not very environmental friendly. Good beds and matrasses, that's sometimes rare to find. Enough space in the room we had.
But, very overpriced as are many hotels in Chile. Food was a disaster, starters seemed okay at first but the taste was poor, but while we were still eating, the next plates came and the waitress just put it somewehere without asking. Crab was drowned in fatty cheese, couldn't eat it, looked like cat food. Ravioli was pale and half raw, sauce overdone with chili. Waitress only asked 'postre?'. Think Chile has a fast food mentality, hard to find healthy and good food. Too bad, we expected differently in a bit more expensive hotel like this one.More
