Just home from a two night stay at the Marriott....it's certainly picture postcard perfect with sunny days, blue skies, beautiful sunsets and fabulous bure architecture. Wow factor was right up there when we opened the door to our lagoon front bure....luxurious, clean and new. We were allocated 2002 which is the most distant room in the complex; a 1km walk to breakfast but a pretty one! In terms of room improvement, I would suggest that the fridge gets a lookover as it's not very cool, to the extent that we wondered if it was faulty; also the pillows whilst super luxurious may be a bit on the too soft side with no other options available. The adult infinity pool and surrounds were amazing and we spent time there watching the sunset from one of the daybeds. All the staff we encountered were cheery and offered a bula greeting. A few hiccups during our stay but nothing that a bit of tweaking won't fix....I was forgotten by the buggy staff once; the Frangipani Beach shop stocks some lovely resort wear but you have to contend with boxes of stock on the shop floor and a cramped change room; and finally, the room not being ready by the 3pm check in. I ordinarily wouldn't mind but when you invest a lot of coin to stay here, you want to be able to maximize your time....it's also not the best first impression. We took a hire car here and were pleased we did as it's a bit off the beaten track. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and yum!! Happy to recommend and would be happy to stay again. Vinaka!!

My husband and I stayed here in July 2018 for one night, we weren’t disappointed. We arrived super early before our room was ready and they gave us complimentary breakfast which was fantastic. We stayed in the duplex with a lagoon view which I’d highly recommend, the room is huge and you have direct access to the lagoon via a man made beach which is great. We are at the Lagoon House for dinner and the Fish Bar the next day. I’d recommend booking into the restaurant you want to eat at, seems to be a little tricky to eat at peak times if you don’t. I’d also recommend going to the adults only pool (near fish bar) to escape kids in the main area.

We just visited there for dinner as we had heard it was amazing - the first Fiji resort with over water bures. We took a $70fj 40 minute taxi there and back from the Sheraton in denaru island and I think it was worth it :) we arrived just before sunset to have dinner at the Fish bar restaurant. Omg what a stunning location right on the waters edge watching the sun set over the sea. The resort being only 1 year old is just faultless it is so beautifully clean and new and is just a stunning place to see. A lover of design and architecture I was blown away its truly a phenomenal place. It’s spread over a large area so walking all around the resort would be very time consuming but there are golf carts all sound the lovely little roads and you will be offered a ride soon enough. The meal and service at ‘Fish’ was second to none thanks to our waitress Jessie but all restaurant staff were awesome. Entree of seared scallops was a surprise for the tastebuds and eyes too ! The bill for 2 entrees 4 mains and 3 alcoholic beverages was $525 fj yes very expensive but for us worth it just to have been there. Took a look inside one of the Bure duplexes which all have water frontages and it was stunning.
If you could afford this place for your holiday you would be very dissapointed with one of the rooms in the grassed / garden area. Only dissapointed the were the reception staff on arrival who were of little help and after standing around for 5 minutes being ignored we walked off to try and find our own way to the restaurant. They were a little understaffed and a little short on initiative! Momi is located in the middle of nowhere a 40 min $70fj taxi ride to Nadi town which is old and dirty. Honestly nothing to buy there apart from Sydney priced surf wear, cheaper (but ok
Quality !) local cloudbresk brand clothing but don’t waste your time just get a souvenir at the airport. If we ever returned to Fiji with full pockets we would return to Momi for a once in a lifetime holiday experience.

Just incredibly amazing... I have to say thanks to silvano the general manager ....yes it's only just over 1 year old with a little teething problems but it's 10/10 if you have a problem it's sorted and you never feel pushed aside..I think there just needs more for the kids to do .....daily activity program should include pool volleyball...soccer cricket as the grounds are amazing but not used to it's full advantage.. paddle board's should be in the lagoon....and they need a life guard with access to a small boat if this is a problem in the lagoon ...
