Short is good and unusual for an Asian restaurant. Nice and buzzy on a pre theatre evening. Very good tasty food, made spicier at my request. All reasonably priced as were the wines. Pleasant team. Nice space.

Thank Ian B

This restaurant’s food though quite authentic was expensive with small portions.
We think this might have been overlooked more, if the service wasn’t so poor. Namely their actual attitude.
The restaurant was almost empty and they wanted us to sit right on top of another table of 5. We had our grandson and requested to sit with a bit more room ... Perhaps this started the “Hoity toity” attitude but nevertheless a bit disappointing. We had all met here for a get together the day before returning home to Australia.
Another example is when she asked if our table wanted ordinary “tap” water from the tap ! OR sparkling or still bottled water. Common enough but the way she said it was rude . Will not be returning here :(

Went to Madam Woo's for dinner - what a lovely place to dine! The food is fresh and full of flavour and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Hawker rolls - we had two of those (pulled pork and pork belly) and they were delicious. Also got a bigger dish to share (the chicken was tender and just right). Was really full but then saw they had Portuguese egg tarts on the menu... Definitely do not regret that decision, as it was the perfect finish to a very decent meal. Highly recommend :)

We came for a quick lunch between appointments. Service was fast and the food good. We just had the chicken kerbabs. The decor was restful and it’s quite spacious inside. I think you would be hard pressed not to find something you liked on the menu.

I thought it was a little pricy for lunch and thank goodness it was better than the same named place in Christchurch which was only memorable for its awfulness. ( I reviewed it accordingly at the time) .
