This place had a very warm feeling. Very accommodating for our two young children and the kids menu is not your typical fried or frozen pizzas. My daughter had a quesadilla and my son had a pizza. Very good all with fresh ingredients/vegetables and presentation was professional.
The seafood hot pot was a hit with me and the naked wedgies were awesome! Portion sizes were just right!
My wife had the coconut curry mussels, good spice and flavor and their sides section was well rounded. Local beer choices was a huge bonus!
The setting is very neat and welcoming for either a nice dinner out or drinks with friends.
Looks like they have some private rooms that could be used for parties or gatherings.
Same owners as Tidal Tacos just south along the road! If you have been there, you know how good that place is and West Coast Food House was no different.
Tianna was our server and she was very attentive and did her job well. Looks like she was the only server and was able to run the whole front end on her own with confidence.
Definitely be going back to this place before we head back home to Calgary!

Great food at excellent prices. Truly a rare find. Service was a little slow but the food DEFINITELY worth it. We had a tough time ordering as every dish coming out of the kitchen looked so amazing. Fair warning... kitchen closes at 8,and it's right on the road with limited parking and no lights in the parking lot. Blink and you will miss it!

looking for a place to eat coming up the old island highway and this unassuming place caught our eye. Decided to give it a try and were we ever happy that we did. My husband had the daily special, spicy prawn quesadillas and I had the Buffalo Blue sliders. He also tried two of the local brewery selections and loved both of them. The food was plentiful, fresh and tasted amazing. The quesadillas were stuffed with prawns and followed thru with their promise of spicy which thrilled my husband, so often that promise falls short. The potato wedges were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and we both enjoyed the house dressing that came with our mixed green salads. We shared a generous piece of Tuxedo cake and loved the real whipped cream and fresh raspberries used as garnish. We found the décor warm and welcoming and our waitress was absolutely lovely. We are definitely putting this place on our re-visit list and would highly recommend it to locals and travellers.

This is a nice rustic setting with a variety of comfortable spaces. We had an assortment of appetizers for dinner, and they were all amazingly good.

I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Every dish I have tried has been excellent. The staff are always friendly and ready to help in every way. The only negatives is the parking is tricky off the main road and once they had live entertainment that was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation with the person next to you.
If you are looking for the west coast seafood experience with charming and friendly staff, this is the place!
