Just average, stays busy because of convenience and place does have a good vibe. Patties are quite thin, need to order double burger to be decent. But price for double still same as a teen burger so not bad really. Skip the poutine it's nothing close to real poutine. Gravy just warm cheese curds piled on top not melted. Quite salty.

I ate there today and feel a wendy value hambuger would be a better burger.
The cheese burgur with the works hold the tomato, worked out to be very little ketchup, mustard, relish, onion, a large tomato and no pickles.
The burger was slapped together and rammed in the bag.
The whole experiance was dislikable, from the whole ordering process, to the ordering staff walking passed you every 30 seconds, for the love of pete put a cash till closer to the door so the staff could be more efficient.

It was 25 years since my last visit and it will be 25 year before the next

BTW the frys were good.

The food is good. Very good. Burgers, dogs, fries and the best cheese in the province...Thornloe Cheese. The Order/Payment/Serving system is perfectly timed. The line just moves like a finely tuned engine. You're in and out very quickly and you can either grab a seat there or hop in your car and motor.

There's a reason why this spot has been as busy as it is for as many decades as they've been there. They do it right.

Avoid the place when highway traffic is at its max as gettin' back onto 11 can be a pain.

Stopped for a quick.lunch on way to Santa's in Bracebridge. Line up went quickly as servers aggressively get out to take order and do cash. But only cash. With portable credit card machines, using credit would be nice.

Burgers are tasty and buns and toppings fresh. But since you don't really control the amounts of condiment, you could be stuck with an over or under mustared burger for example (please excuse my grammar).

It was a little drizzly, so we chose to eat in the train car. Tables there are totally inadequate making it diffecult for all to eat. My granddaughter had to stand. Provide some decent tables.

Prices are still acceptable and the burgers flavourful, but wondered if the patties have been made smaller.

Still an ok stop but slipping.

The lines are fast, and staff is friendly. It is a nice stop to stretch your legs, especially with kids or a dog. But the food is just frozen fries and burgers. Same quality as Mcdonalds with a higher price tag. I had the foot long, and it was all bun with a very small taste-less wiener. Fries are just like McDonalds with less salt. Won't be going back. Wish the food matched the nice property and reputation
