“Lovely cottage, wonderful location ”
Reviewed 12 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Just returned from a lovely break at Orange Grove cottage visiting family and friends. Really comfortable and very clean throughout. Much larger than expected and fully equipped for our stay. The fully loaded coffee machine and heated bathroom floor was a nice touch too.
Our little ones loved the toy box.

Thank you - will certainly come again.

“Lovely cottage and a great place to base yourself”
Reviewed 28 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We stayed at the Orange Grove Cottage for a week and it served our purposes more than adequately.

Good central location (but away from the main High Street) very well maintained inside and well equipped. The range cooker was fantastic! (If you didn't fancy cooking yourself the chinese takeaway was very good and there is a fish and chip shop nearby). There's also a Co-op a stones throw away which was invaluable for the odd bits you inevitably needed.
The only downside was the lack of outside garden, which would be likely be more of an issue in the Summer.
However, the extension into the old garden has created a spacious living space in what otherwise would be quite a small cottage - swings and roundabouts really!

Eye itself is a very pleasant town with an "olde wolde" feel.

“Lovely cottage, beautiful town”
Reviewed 3 February 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Eye is a fabulous town to visit with everything you could ask for, great pub, butchers, bakers, take aways and a Co-op that always seems to be open.
The cottage is a little gem, very warm and comfortable with everything you could ask for. The kitchen has a fabulous range cooker and huge fridge freezer. The 3 piece in the lounge was looking a little tired but very comfortable and there was no wood supplied in the basket when we got there, fortunately we had bought some with us. The beds were really comfortable with lovely crisp bedding. The bathroom was lovely and warm, however the bathroom door did rub on the floor which was a bit noisy at night. We did let the owners know.
We would definitely return to both the cottage and Eye, hopefully quite soon

“Immaculate cottage in quaint little village”
Reviewed 26 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Wow, what an immacuate cottage - by far the cleanest and best kept cottage we have ever encountered. we were very impressed upon entering the property, it was deceptively large and had high ceilings - with a very comfortable lounge area, large dining room and a spacious kitchen on the ground floor (with a large range, full sized fridge and well stocked crockery it has everything you could want). Upstairs was two generously sized bedrooms and a bathroom (only issue was that the shower was over the bath and it was hard to step into with a bad back - bit this only a minor issue). The cottage was also very child friendly, with stair guards, high chairs etc for those with little ones.

Eye is a little gem - with a nice selection of shops to choose from (variety of co-ops, butchers, bakeries, general traders plus takeaway shops and pubs, everything just a short walk away. It was a very pleasant walk around the village as well, with its charming streets and ruins of Eye castle to see.

We found Orange Gropve cottage to be the ideal base from which to explore Norfolk and surrounding diistricys ( from Holkham Hall and Sandringham in the north, to Norfolk, Cambridge and the myriad of seaside towns there was always something to do. And the owner Sarah had also left an extensive list of things to do locally if you were lost for something to do.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and will definietly attempt to get back here in the future
