“Fabulous place to have a holiday”
Reviewed 10 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in a beautiful cottage set in stunning surroundings. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well equipped with everything you would need for a great break. The cottage was full of character with wooden floors and rustic beams with a lovely fireplace and wood burner.
The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely return and will be recommending it to all our friends.

“A little gem in rural Normandie”
Reviewed 10 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This charming gite set in acres of garden close to the owner's farmhouse offers a very tranquil retreat. It is a place to relax and unwind and take in French rural culture. The gite is well equipped and if you have forgotten anything, the owners, Debbie & Robin are on hand to assist. It is a great place to tour from and take in some of the battle sites or war graves from WW2. We visited the US war graves at St. James. This is a charming village with a very nice patisserie offering delicious cakes and coffee. Mortain is close to the gite and is the site of a particularly hard fought battle for a hill. Other locations close by are Brecey and St. Hillaire. They have thriving markets and lots of choice for a plat de jour.

Around the gite are some lovely and quiet walks. Debbie and Robin have left some guides.

Further afield are the beaches of the D day landings and the stunning Mont St. Michel. Dinard is also a beautiful seaside town, as is Granville.

Debbie and Robin are great hosts and I really appreciated their hospitality.

“Tranquility, lovely gardens and very comfortable cottage.”
Reviewed 22 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is a charming cottage, with every convenience from a wood burning stove to a dishwasher. It is surrounded by a huge and exceptionally beautiful garden, shared with the owners. The peaceful Normandy countryside surrounds the property and there are lovely walks from the front door. The nearby "greenway" cycle route on a disused railway is another treat. If the weather is not so kind there are numerous fascinating little towns a villages to visit.
The owners live nearby and are ever helpful and friendly but not intrusive.
We loved it despite the slightly soggy weather. Highly recommended.
