We went as a party of eight for my wife's birthday. Our table was waiting and ready precisely at our reserved time. The wait staff was polite, efficient and attentive.
The restaurant is clean, well decored with a nice intimate atmosphere. We discovered that there is also a rooftop patio for the evening experience.
The food was good. The steaks were tender and cooked to perfection. The chicken was well-cooked and moist. We had the Caesar salad and found the dressing a bit too salty. I cannot really recommend the ribs. While they were tender, the bbq sauce was too overpowering and tasted scorched. We couldn't taste the meat at all.
The calamari was excellent, not under cooked, oily or doughy. The appetizer came served with tempura asparagus shoots and sauteed zucchini.
We had the yam fries as well. They arrived at our table hot and crisp, not oily or too salty. We definitely recommend them.
A unique dish which I have never seen before is Joey's method of serving mashed potatoes, wrapped in a spring roll and deep fried. Definitely something to experience.
