Honestly I think they have the best seafood chowder in all of Victoria. Their Burger is my favourite burger as well. The Cafe is at the marina so you can take in all of the action while you enjoy a fabulous meal. I suggest you make reservations as there is always a line up!!

Thank Cheryl D

We dropped in one day for lunch with SIX hungry people. It's a pretty small place and was quite full. They found a way to get 2 tables next to each other to accommodate us ... and when one other table became open they managed to fit the tables together for us. Nicely done! The lunch menu had a great selection of meals, and they had 2 soups of the day and 2 special 'sandwiches'. Most of the crowd opted for the 'Langoustine and Blue Crab Roll' which came with either a salad, soup or fries - and it was absolutely stuffed with yummy seafood - and the roll was a nice Portuguese style bun and was great. Good presentation as well. We also had their special seafood melt which had 2 kinds of fish and 2 kinds of cheese on a most delectable foccaccia bread - also with soup, salad or fries. The whole table declared the fries "the best they've ever had!" We were quite full by the end of that ... but ordered one dessert for all 6 of us and it didn't dissapoint. They called it a 'cheesecake' ... but it was served in a glass and more like a mousse. Lovely presentation and amazing flavor. It was gone quickly!
Parking is ample ... but I strongly suggest reservations as it's fairly small inside - and VERY popular. The decor is beautiful with a nautical 'sea glass' theme (of course!) and even when crowded it didn't feel overwhelming. Very comfortable.
My one thought was that perhaps some cushions on the wooden chairs would be welcome.
It is fully licensed and seemed to have a nice selection of wines etc.

Had a wonderful dinner there Saturday night. Waitress was very attentive to our gluten free needs. Well done. And will go back again soon and try the brunch.

This restaurant seriously needs to learn a lot about how to manage reservations & provide excellent customer service. We had a lunch reservation for 1:30 pm & arrived promptly at that time (we had made this reservation 10 days previously). We were told by staff that a group was sitting at our reserved table and that they were paying/ finishing up. We were left to stand & wait with no offer of a coffee, drinks, sitting at another table or bar to wait etc.

After waiting 25 minutes despite having a reservation, we were finally seated at our table!! This is extremely poor customer service and a total lack of respect for customers with reservations. In my previous experiences with restaurants, customers with reservations DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT more than 5 minutes & certainly not for other customers to vacate their reserved table. What's the point of having reservations then?!!!
At no point, did the staff at Seaglass apologize for the lengthy wait or offer a discount, free appetizer or dessert or even a gift certificate for our inconvenience, I would not recommend this restaturant; they obviously couldn't care less about customer service!!
