Checked in on September 13 and out on September 18, 2017.
Check in was a breeze, room was immaculate, staff are friendly and helpful. Have stayed there on several occasions and will always go back, when in Yarmouth. Some of the rooms have been renovated and they are still working on the rest.

Room Tip: Ask for nonsmoking rooms if you want one

Very nice staff. Helpful and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and bathroom is spotless. The value is great. The owner is a joy to talk to. Not to far from the ferry. No extra's in room, hence value.

the room was a queen size and was clean , had a great day there, sitting outside in the beautiful weather, our only complaint is the older lady in the wheelchair who said she had "ONE" room left for the night, she must have been mistaken because there were still empty rooms when we left early morning and no cars . we didnt care for her suggesting to us about tipping the room cleaner and breakfast staff, this was very unprofessional on her part. if she feels the need to get her staff more money, maybe she should up their wages!

The reason I'm giving this review two stars instead of one is that the Voyageur happens to be located on the Evangeline trail, a lovely place to walk. The room we stayed in 1) reeked of cigarette smoke, 2) had a strange shower door that collapsed onto the shower floor when touched (no dice on getting anyone to fix it on a Sunday night), 3) contained furniture that appeared to be from an estate sale--big, heavy pieces of dinged up wood, with a mirror that was discolored. Another reviewer referenced the Bates motel vibe, and I would concur.

The room was clean and comfortable and a reasonable distance from the ferry but nothing special. So far so good, just don't expect ANY help from the staff, even with something as simple as change for a five dollar bill. Lady ay check in was pushy and even suggested we leave a 20% tip for "her girls". Seriously?
