You walk up the stairs to bed! At least, I did! I rented the King's Suite! I also really enjoyed the jetted tub. And, of course, they have this computer you can mooch - I mean use! Not EVERYONE has their own laptop!

Room Tip: My uncle who is a doctor said even he had not stayed in a room like the one I had! That was fun!

We took a motorcycle trip through the Canadian Rockies. we stayed at this property as part of a 4000 mile road trip. The views are amazing from this hotel and the rooms are nicely appointed. The lofts are nice but a pain in the middle of the night as the bathroom is on the ground floor. the rooms were nice though and reasonably priced for the area. the only downfall was the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms. we had 5 rooms booked and they were all in similar condition. not real bad but someone needs to go through and clean very well. All together we would stay here again

Room Tip: book a double queen

Stayed there for a week, the place is absolutely clean and the service is very good. The breakfast was incredible too, it had a very good selection. My wife eat light food in the morning and she got what she wanted, I used to have strong breakfast and I really did it good there. The place is very quiet and we slept very well with no interruption at all.

Canmore is outside the National Parks, and thus is less expensive. The Quality Resort is quiet, convenient, has a hot tub, sauna and small pool as well as a good exercise room. Ideal for the end-of the-day relaxing. The adjacent restaurant is adequate, but the hotel has sufficient parking for all guests. Rooms are not modern, but large enough. Toilets take a long time to recharge, but we found room to be quiet. Check-in morning clerk was not particularly friendly, but Neal gave a good recommendation for dinner. There is a single washer and dryer on the 3rd floor - $2.25 for wash, $2.00 for dry.

Room Tip: 2nd floor has fewer rooms and access to pool, sauna, hot tub and exercise room. Rooms away from train tracks are quieter.

Located just south of Banff National Park, we were happy to get away from the hustle and bustle (and traffic!) of Banff on a holiday weekend for the quieter Canmore.

We booked the king suite which is a nice size. It includes a fireplace, refrigerator, Keurig coffeemaker and microwave. However, the Quality Inn vibe is still noticeable in the small bathroom and worn countertops throughout. Perhaps it was an oversight when booking, but the king bed is up narrow stairs. That's not ideal if you're someone who needs the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Breakfast is not included. There is coffee in the lobby but only powdered creamer. You would think an upscale hotel would offer better than powdered Coffee Mate.

We looked at the indoor pool and hot tub and were unimpressed. The pool is tiny. There were 4 people already in the hot tub and it didn't look like room for more.

Lastly, the desk clerk seemed irritated at check in and again when we had to get our key re-programmed after it stopped working.

I would think there are better accommodations out there for the price we paid.

Hi, sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. we are replacing the counter tops taps and sinks. Several rooms have been completed. With out a fridge at the coffee station we can not use real cream. So we use the powder.
I do appreciate your comments it can only make this a better place to stay.
